FUNCTION:  

  • Assist in all aspects of Capital Raising and Fund Marketing for Island Capital Group and C-III Investment Management LLC’s diverse group of funds and companies. This is an entry-level investor relations position with the opportunity to be mentored and groomed to work with the largest and most sophisticated investors in the world. This is a highly visible role that will have exposure to the senior-most management of the firm.

 

PROFESSIONAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assign, monitor and supervise recurring and non-recurring projects assigned to Analyst.   
  • Draft marketing materials and assist with completion of responses to marketing related due diligence questionnaires, etc.
  • Prospect for new potential investors.
  • Prepare responses to investor inquiries and special projects.
  • Draft quarterly and annual investor letters.
  • Draft presentation materials for and assist with coordination of annual investor and advisory committee meetings.
  • Prepare quarterly fund performance update presentations to have available for existing investor or prospect meetings.
  • Maintain investor communication records in a manner consistent with the corporate policies and procedures.
  • Independently make decisions with respect to execution of responsibilities while simultaneously keeping Vice President of Capital Raising updated as to progress on assignments and how decisions undertaken affect outcome of deliverables.   

 

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: 

  • Position will report directly to the Senior Managing Director, Fund Admin.
  • Analyst position will report to Associate.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:    

  • Skills
    • Conscientious with attention to detail.
    • Excellent writing and grammar skills.
    • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel (design programs for graphics is a bonus).
    • Polished individual with outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize in a dynamic work environment.
    • Ability to develop conceptual ideas into effective communication (both oral and written).
    • Organizational and interpersonal skills.
    • Demonstrate initiative, discretion and creativity and provide complete follow-through on areas of responsibility.
    • Excellent analytical, oral and written communications skills.
    • Self-motivated, team-oriented and strong time management skills.
  • Experience
    • Four (4) year college degree from an accredited university is required. Study focus in finance, accounting, or real estate with a strong GPA is preferred.
    • The ideal candidate will have 1 – 3 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity and/or an analytically heavy IR-related role.
